Deepika Padukone has been summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau for interrogation after a few chats of her allegedly discussing 'maal' and 'hash' with manager Karishma Prakash came to light. She was reportedly summoned over call as she was in Goa shooting for her upcoming film helmed by Shakun Batra. Today, Deepika along with her husband Ranveer Singh took a charter plane to come back to Mumbai. Now, a report suggests that Ranveer has requested NCB to let him be a part of the interrogation that is to happen on September 26.

As per a report in PeepingMoon.com, Ranveer has supposedly requested NCB to let him be with Deepika when she is being interrogated as she sometimes suffers from anxiety and panic attacks. However, no official confirmation has been made on this as yet. As soon as the reports of Deepika getting linked to alleged drug nexus of Bollywood made it to the headlines, Ranveer flew down to Goa to be by the side of his wife. It was also reported that Ranveer attended Deepika's video call with her team of lawyers to discuss the further course of action.

Earlier, Deepika Padukone was to appear in front of the Narcotics Control Bureau on September 25, however, she requested to push it by a day. Tomorrow, her manager Karishma Prakash is expected to be interrogated by the NCB.

Apart from Deepika, actresses such as Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh have also been summoned by the NCB for interrogation in alleged drugs case revolving around Bollywood stars.
